Garlic Butter Steak Lightning Noodles Recipe

  • 12 oz linguine
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Linguine:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the Steak:
In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and black pepper, then sear for 2–3 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet, slice it thinly, and set aside.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes, or until fragrant.
  4. Combine the Sauce:
Reduce the heat to medium-low. Pour in the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and red pepper flakes. Stir until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  5. Toss the Noodles and Steak:
Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss until evenly coated in the sauce. Top with the sliced steak and gently mix to combine.
  6. Serve and Garnish:
Divide the Garlic Butter Steak Lightning Noodles among plates. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve warm.
